Ariane holds a Bachelor's of Music from the University of Victoria. In addition to her work with PGSO, she has played flute and piccolo with the Northern Orchestra and small ensembles, holds a teaching position at the Prince George Conservatory of music, and is Music Director of the PG Cantata Singers.

Ariane has been involved in choral music most of her life. She has directed a number of choirs including children, youth and adult choirs. Prior to moving to PG in 2005 she lived in Valemount where she developed and directed a community choral programme for 12 years. 

In her spare time Ariane is passionate about her family, hiking, baking, and enjoying the quiet and beauty of the great BC outdoors.
