PGSO Season Cancelled
March 19, 2020

To Our Valued Patrons,

It is with sadness that we must announce the cancellation of the remainder of our 2019-2020 concert season, due to the health risks posed by the Covid-19 outbreak to audiences, musicians, and staff, as well as the indefinite closures of performance venues in the city.

For those who have already purchased tickets to these cancelled performances, we would be most happy to exchange them for tickets to next season's performances, or to process a refund back to the original payment method should you prefer. Please let us know your wishes before the end of APRIL so we may take timely action.

If you do not wish to receive a refund, your ticket will be gratefully accepted as a general donation to the PGSO, for which we will gladly issue a tax receipt by request.

Please note our offices are currently closed to the general public, but we can be reached by email at, or by phone at 250-562-0800 (Mon-Fri, 9:00 AM – 4:30 PM).

We could not be prouder to be part of Prince George's arts community, and our hearts march in step with all other arts and cultural organizations in the city feeling the pressures of these difficult times.

The PGSO will take advantage of this downtime to focus our energies on developing next season's repertoire. 2021 will be the 50th anniversary of the PGSO, and we have an incredible celebration planned for you.

Thank you for your understanding, your support, and your patronage.
