Nil was born in Montreal where she began piano lessons at the age of 5. Later she attended McGill University where she received a B.of Music degree in bassoon performance. She has been playing bassoon in the PGSO and teaching piano at the PG Conservatory since 1986. Nil loves figure skating, NASCAR racing, and country music; and is a huge fan of anything to do with the winter olympics!
