David Louie, who grew up in Prince George, will come home to perform Rachmaninoff’s Piano Concerto No. 3 in D, Opus 30. Also on the programme will be Finlandia by Jean Sibelius, Aurora Borealis by Canadian composer Frederick Schipizky, and Cantus Arcticus by Finnish composer Einojuhani Rautavaara. This will truly be a celebration of the North.
