Please help us to keep the music alive!
|
You may have heard that the PGSO is having some tough financial problems. This much is true, and although we are halfway to our initial recovery goal (good news!) and we have increased our audiences and secured much needed City and community support, the Prince George Symphony Orchestra is in still danger of being silenced. The next few weeks and months are crucial to a successful recovery. This is where you come in and why your support is so important. We hope you have logged in here because you value what the PGSO has to offer our community. The PGSO has been a driving force in the cultural life of Prince George and beyond for almost 40 years, and is an indicator of ‘quality of life’ in the Central Interior. We are asking you to help us keep the music alive; your support can make a huge difference. Please consider making a donation and join the many people in our community who have rallied to support the PGSO as we work our way to a brighter future, beginning with celebrating our 40th Anniversary Season in 2010. To find out how to make a donation please email gm@pgso.com or phone (250) 562-0800 or click the Donate Now button. Please know that you will receive a charitable tax receipt along with our sincere gratitude. Thank you for your support. |
The PGSO is registered with CanadaHelps, a registered charity whose mission it is to allow charities to receive online donations.

As a celebration of awesome Canadian talent we present the artistic achievements of three outstanding Canadians, including the world premiere of a Piano Concerto written and performed by Iman Habibi. Completing this remarkable program is Mussorgsky's enduringly popular work depicting an imaginary tour of an art collection.
* commisioned and premiered by the PGSO in 2004
