Jordan Kwan
Jordan is a true Prince Georgian -- born and raised. Personal milestones on Jordan's immediate horizon will be turning 17 this spring and graduating from Cedar's Christian School.
Jordan began his studies at the age of 6 with Sandy Miller and for the past 7 years has been under the venerable tutelage of Lori Elder. He completed his Royal Conservatory of Music (ARCT) in Piano Performance with distinction in 2010 and is currently enrolled in the RCM Licentiate Program also in piano performance. Jordan is the recipient of many provincial awards for his outstanding accomplishments including the RCM Silver Medal for achieving the highest score for Grade 3 piano exam and a medal for the highest mark of Grade 8 piano exam. He has represented Prince George in two Junior Piano categories at the BC Provincial performing Arts Festivals (2008 & 2009) and will compete again in the Senior Piano category in 2011.
When Jordan is not focused on piano keys, he finds enjoyment with guitar strings. Ask Jordan about his photography, pencil drawings and travel expeditions, for these are other interests in which he finds pleasure.
We are pleased to present Jordan Kwan as an outstanding young talent!
